Terms of service
Last updated 20 September 2026
Plain terms for a platform that moves other people's money. If something here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
01Agreement
These terms govern your access to and use of the Qyubi platform, including the dashboard, the API, and the hosted checkout pages we serve on your behalf.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it.
02Accounts and access
Access is granted by invitation during the private beta period. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and API keys, and for all activity that occurs under them.
API keys are server-side credentials. Exposing a key publicly allows third parties to create payable sessions against your account, and you remain responsible for the resulting transactions.
03Payment processing
Card processing is performed by licensed payment partners. You are the merchant of record for transactions initiated through your account, and funds settle to the payout account you connect.
You must complete identity and payout verification before your account can accept live payments. We may suspend processing where verification is incomplete or where a partner requires it.
04Fees
Our fee is applied to each successful payment at the rate agreed for your account and shown in your account settings, and is recorded as a separate line on every transaction.
Processing costs are charged by the payment partner at their own rates. Where a payment is refunded, our fee is returned; processing costs are governed by the partner's own policy.
05Acceptable use
You may not use the service for activity that is unlawful, that is prohibited by the card networks, or that exposes us or our partners to disproportionate risk of fraud or chargebacks.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached, and will tell you why where we are permitted to do so.
06Service availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and partner outages can affect the ability to take payments.
The service is provided as is during the beta period. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding a claim.
07Changes and termination
We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will give notice through the dashboard or by email before it takes effect.
You may close your account at any time. Obligations that by their nature survive termination, including fees already incurred and liability provisions, continue to apply.
08Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact form on this site, and we will route them to the right person.
